DAY 1 : CASABLANCA TO RABAT

After picking you up from the international Mohamed 5- Casablanca, you will be taken to visit one of the famous mosques in Africa and the world in general. Masjid ( mosque) Hassan 2 which holds the name of the Moroccan king  Hassan 2 ( 1929- 1999) who started ruling in 1969 until he died in 1999.  This mosque, which took 6 years to be built ( 1987_1993) is considered the largest mosque in Africa and the third in the world. It can contain  25.000 worshippers covering 24,000 square. Besides being a place of praying, a culture center with a library, museum and a Koranic school are parts of the giant building, too. It will be fascinating to see such work in which the amazing handicraft is clear.

 The current capital city of Morocco, Rabat,  will be Your next direction. In Rabat, you will be visiting the Royal Gates which remains since 1864. The beautiful garden of Challa will be the next place. Chella exists in the metro area of Rabat. It is a medieval fortified Muslim necropolis which was one of the Romanian colonies once. Chella or Shalla is encircled by walls were built with the intention of defense and protection. 

When we finish visiting The Mohammed VI Museum (a contemporary and modern art museum and one the important museums created by the National Foundation of Museums of Morocco),  we will travel to see the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. It is composed of the Moroccan king’s, Mohammed V,  tombs and his two sons ( The previous king Hassan II and Prince Abdallah). Hassan II tower is the place that will be visited next. Hassan Tower is a 12th-century still-standing monument. The intention was building the largest minaret along with the mosque in the world but, unfortunately, it was left as an incomplete Masjid (mosque) when Yaqub Al Mansour died in 1199. He was the founder of Hassan tower.

Ouadaya Kasbah which is was used as a military base will be also visited. Amorabits built it in the 12th century to defend their lands from Spain. It is one of the unique features in Morocco.  while you are in Oauday Kasbah, you can enjoy the charming scenic views of the Bou Regreg river, the Plage of Rabat, and the Atlantic Ocean.

DAY 2: RABAT – MEKNES - FEZ

Meknes city, one of the Imperial cities of Morocco, will be your next direction after having breakfast. In Meknes, you will visit Sahrige Swani. Multan Moulay Ismail built it to supply the army, homes, mosques of the town with water. We will also go to see the Moulay Ismail mausoleum.

 The iconic Bab Mansour was built in 1732 known for its marble columns and geometric ornamentation. Through this well k, own gate Bab Mansour, you can move into the Medina. Traveling through Lahdim Square ( Saht Lahdim), where people used to gather to discuss the political, cultural and religious issues, we will head to Volubilis.

Volubilis is an interesting and ancient site that had been once the capital of the kingdom of Mauretania before it became southernmost cities of the Roman Empire. Volubilis is the prominent ruins of the Roman in  Morocco. The fasciating mosaics give a unique decoration to the city. Visiting Volubilis makes you go back centuries. The day will end at the hotel where you will have breakfast and dinner.

DAY 3: FEZ

Your third day will be programmed to explore Fez city after having breakfast. First, you will visit the Royale palace gate which contains seven gates  (before that you will have breakfast first). the Royale palace is considered an astonishing model of modern restoration. While you are there, you will be able to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Medina from the southern tower. Before we go to explore the old Medina on foot through the small alleyways that are over nine thousand, you will enjoy Fez’s handicrafts, the wonderful mosaics, hear tales, and pottery making. The next place we will be Al Madrassa Al Boaananiya. It was founded by the Sultan Faris Abu Inan in 1351. It was mainly used to teach the Quran.

Belly dancing, local music, and a delicious dinner will be what you will enjoy as a perfect experience in this historical city.

DAY 4: FEZ - MIDELT - ERG CHEBBI

After having a Moroccan breakfast at the hotel, you will resume your trip. Ifrane city will be your first stopping point. This city is known for its special clean and green environment ( some call it Switzerland of Morocco). In winter it is the direction of many Moroccan people to enjoy the snow, and in summer, it is a home for those who look for fresh weather. Then we will travel through Cèdre Gouraud Forest. It is a woodland area in the Middle Atlas Mountain. It was named for the French general Henri Gouraud. Cèdre Gouraud Forest exists between Azrou and Ifrane. In this place, you will be able to see trees climbed by the Berber apes.

When you make it to Middelt (the capital of apples), you will have lunch. Ziz Valley is a place we will travel through. In Ziz valley, you can enjoy the wonderful gorges. You may love to take some photos of this valley. It is known of the palm groves and the variety of crops. It is considered an Alouite dynasty which still rules Morocco. The kingdom is represented in the king Mohamed the 6th.

DAY 5: Erg Chebbi (MERZOUGA)

Exploring the desert is where you will be heading after having breakfast. In the Sahara desert, you will go to see Gnawa people in khamlia. Gnawa music is a well-known style of music with a plentiful repertory of ancient African Islamic spiritual religious songs and rhythms. You will have the chance to observe their special music and lifestyle. After stopping for lunch, your camels will be waiting for you to ride them. Enjoying the sunset over the dunes is one of the beautiful things you can do.

DAY 6:MERZOUGA - DADES GORGE

Breakfast will be back at the hotel, but before that, you will wake up early to enjoy the stunning sunrise. When you finish breakfast, we will travel through Elkhatarat in our way. Elkhatarat is located in a traditional system of underground located in the southeast of Morocco. Touroug, where we will have lunch, and Tinejad are two small towns we will travel through to visit Todgha Gorges which are a series of limestone river canyons. Most visitors enjoy hiking and passing by the nomad who comes down to the gorge to get water. Todgha Gorges are considered the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco.

Dades Gorges is the next place we will visit. The Dades Gorge is a series of rugged wadi gorges carved out by the Dades River in Morocco. The river originates in the High Atlas range of the Atlas mountains. The majestic sand castles and monkey toes (a fascinating rock formation) in Ddaes valley are a point of attraction for tourists.

DAY 7: DADES GORGE - OUARZAZATE

we will resume our trip through the Berber villages after having breakfast. Skoura Known of its amazing palm trees), Kasbah Ait Ben Moro, and Armdil Kasbahs are interesting places you will see.

We will also Tourirt Kasbah. It is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage.  Taourirt Kasbah is a masterpiece that belongs to the Berber culture. Glaoui tribe built in the 17th century using straw and earth. It is decorated amazingly.

The trip will be continued at the cinema studios. Many films were shot in the Hollywood of Africa (Ouarzazate) such as  Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and Alexander.

After exploring the interesting Ouarzazate, you will spend the night at a hotel.

DAY 8: OUARZAZATE - AIT BENHADDOU - TAROUDANT

The tour will be resumed to visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah after having breakfast( one of the last Berber chieftains during the 18th built by Et Hami El Glaoui). It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site composed of kasbahs (forts).

Taroudant is where we will drive to. The surrounding ramparts are what make it look special. Taroudant has some interesting landmarks (like Bab Lhjar and door Targont) and historical places ( Bab Zourgane…)

Taznakht is one of the villages that we travel through. Taznakht is known for making the beautiful and traditional carpets (women spin and weave the wool to make Berber carpets). Taliouine, which is another place famous for producing saffron.

After an amazing day, you will spend the night at the hotel.

DAY 9: TAROUDANT - AGADIR

When you finish your breakfast, you will head to the very old Berber village Tiyout. In Tiyout, you will be able to know more about the culture and the history of  Berber people. In this village, you will have lunch.

Agadir will be your next destination. It is a modern city which is located along Morocco’s southern Atlantic coast. Not far from the beach (In Agadir city), you will enjoy having a mint tea.

At the hotel is where you will spend the night.

DAY 10: AGADIR - ESSAOUIRA

When you are done having breakfast, you will head to enjoy the Panoramic views of Agadir Olfa which overlooks the beach. Visiting Taghazout, where you will have lunch, will be included. After enjoying the amazing Agadir, you will travel to Essaouira. In your way, you may enjoy the rare Argan forests. You may also have the chance to see how Argan is produced when you visit a women’s co-operative.

DAY 11: ESSAOUIRA

After having breakfast, the trip will be resumed to explore  Essaouira through its alleys. You will discover the Skala Fortress which was built by a French architect in 1765. His name is Théodore Cornut. Watching plenty of handicrafts will be an amusement.

The city was a home of many civilizations. The Portuguese architecture is revealed in the historical buildings of the city like the blue doors. Portugal occupied Essaouira in the 15th century. “Jewel of the Atlantic” is what Essouira considered as.

Essaouira is listed among the World Heritage sites by UNESCO

Essaouira is also one of the best direction of surfers because of its unstoppable wind during the year.

The famous Gnaoua Music Festival is held in Essaouira every year in Jun. It is an opportunity for Gnaoua musicians, from different countries, to perform and dialogue.

At a fish restaurant, you will have a delicious lunch (fishing is a source of living for people there).

The accommodation and dinner will be at the hotel/riad.

DAY 12: ESSAOUIRA - MARRAKECH

Marrakech will be the destination after having breakfast. In our way, we will stop in Sidi Elmokhtar which is a town in Chichoua province. In Marrakech city, you will spend the night at a hotel/riad.

DAY 13: MARRAKECH

A local guide will be your company in your day number 13. Making you able to see the beauty of Marrakech and have an idea about the interesting monuments of the city, will be the plan.

Before you head to the Saadian tombs, which return to the 17th century, you will visit Bahia Palace (a 19th-century monument)

School Ben Youssef, which remained for four centuries as a home for students who had the will to learn different sciences such as theology, and the Koutoubia mosque ( One of the largest mosques in Morocco) will place you will visit. Both of them were built in the 12th century.

You will also visit the famous Souks where you may want to have something as a memory or as a present for someone special.

You will have even enough time to enjoy a Moroccan mint tea or a cup of coffee at a restaurant or a cafe with a beautiful panoramic view of Jemaa el Fnaa square.

 Jemaa el Fnaa is a large square place in Marrakesh’s medina. Itis also a market in which you can find many interesting products and a variety of delicious local meals. Local people and tourists share this place for entertainment. They can, for example, enjoy watching Gnoua dancers listen to the storytellers, pass by water sellers.

DAY 14: MARRAKECH

The 14th  day is free. You may want to visit the new city Gueliz. Treating yourself with a Hamam and spa will be an option. Visiting Majorelle Gardens gardens (created by the french artist in 1923) and Menara gardens, which was built in the 12th century by the Almohad Caliphate ruler Abd al-Mu’ min, are one of the activities that you can do.

DAY 15: TRANSFER TO CASABLANCA OR MARRAKECH AIRPORT

Before you leave Marrakech, you will have breakfast. The destination will be Casablanca where you will visit the largest mosque in Africa Hassan II.

This includes visiting the wonderful Corniche seaside. You will take a break to rest and enjoy the serenity of the Atlantic Ocean.

Before you will arrive at the airport, we will drive through residential areas of Casablanca.
