7 Days Tour From Tangier To Marrakech Via Merzouga Desert

DAY 1 : TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUeN

In the port in Tangier, our professional travel agency’s staff will pick you.  We will drive to explore the beautiful and scenic  Rif Mountains exploring Tetouan city and the blue city “Chefchaouen”. In your Journey, you will travel through some interesting villages in the Rif Mountains. You will spend the night at the Riad back in Chefchaouen.

DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN - FEZ

You will enjoy your free day in Chefchaouen discovering the city after having breakfast at the Riad.

The tour will continue to Fez where you will have dinner at your accommodation Riad).

DAY 3: Explore Fez city

By an experienced guide, you will be accompanied to explore Fez city. You will visit the prominent sites in Fez such as University Al Karaouine. To the record, this university is the first established university in the world according to Guinness record, UNESCO and many other scholars. You will be also guided you will visit the ancient valleys of Fez and enjoy the wonderful art crafts. At a local Riad, you will have dinner and spend the night.

DAY 4: FEZ - Merzouga

After having breakfast at the Riad, we will travel from Fez to Merzouga. In our Journey, you will enjoy travelling through the fascinating Middle Atlas to  explore:

Ifrane: known by its special clean and green environment ( some call it Switzerland of Morocco). In winter it is the direction of many Moroccan people to enjoy the snow, and in summer, it is a home for those who look for fresh weather.

Midelt (the capital of apples) and Erfoud (an oasis and a town in the Sahara Desert consists of many ancient districts).

When you reach Merzouga, you will camels towards Merzouga desert. You will spend the night camp in a tent, where you’ll have dinner, in the middle of the Sahara desert surrounded by sand dunes.

DAY 5: MERZOUGA DESERT - DADES VALLEY

By an A/C vehicle, you will travel to Rissani. It town in Errachidia Province in eastern Morocco located near Erfoud (most of the people still wear the traditional Saharan dress. Women are veiled, and men are hooded). Rissani is famous for its Souks (large traditional markets).

After visiting Tinghir ( north Little Atlas and south The High Atlas), we will head to Dades Valley where you will have dinner and spend the night at a Riad.

DAY 6: DADES VALLEY - AIT BENHADDOU - MARRAKECH

On this day, we will explore Dades Valley, Ait Ben Haddou, Tizi n’Tichka and continue our journey to Marrakech:

The Dades Gorge is a series of rugged wadi gorges carved out by the Dades River in Morocco. The river originates in the High Atlas range of the Atlas mountains. The majestic sand castles and monkey toes (a fascinating rock formation) in Ddaes valley are a point of attraction for visitors

Ait Ben Haddou which of the last Berber chieftains during the 18th built by Et Hami El Glaoui. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site composed of kasbahs (forts).

Tizi N’tichka: a famous pass mountain in Morocco ( Its elevation: 2,260 m)

When you reach Marrakech by the evening, your dinner and accommodation will be at a Riad.

DAY 7: MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR

Having breakfast is followed by a tour in Marrakech city accompanied by an experienced guide. Marrakech is visited by a lot of tourists from all over the world. While you are exploring this interesting city, which has millions of positive feedbacks, you will visit places such as:

⦁ Koutoubia mosque ( One of the largest mosques in Morocco).

⦁ Jamaa El Fna is also a market in which you can find many interesting products and a variety of delicious meals. Local people and tourists share this place for entertainment. They can enjoy watching Gnoua dancers listen to the storytellers, by crossing by water sellers During the night, the square is more dynamic and full of life than daylight.

⦁ Visiting the Souks, Medina valleys and looking up to the crafts of the skillful artisans.

You will also have free time to explore more the city by yourself.
