6 Days Tour From Marrakech To Merzouga Desert

DAY 1 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

At 8 am your departure will be from Marrakech heading to Ouarzazate. During your first day of the tour, you’ll travel through the Atlas Mountains (the Atlas are spotted with Berber towns and riven with gorge and gorges. Its noteworthy peak is 4,167m Toubkal, which exists in Morocco’s Toubkal National Park), and Tizi n’Tichka, pass (2,260 meters high), to visit the Kasbah of Telouet (A world heritage that was built in the 18th and 19th centuries). We will also have a stop at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Many fillm were shot in this 800 years old Kasbah such as Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven.

You’ll finally arrive at Ouarzazate where you will be able to explore the well-known movie studios.

You’ll end your 1st night by having dinner & staying overnight at a local hotel.

DAY 2: Ouarzazate – Agdez – Valley of the Draa – Tazarine – Gorges of Mharech (track of Dakar)

the direction will be Zagora to visit to the Taourirt Kasbah, after having a delightful breakfast. Traveling through the mountains of the Anti Atlas and the pass of Tizi n Tinifift(1,600 meters high). We will see some different Berber villages in our way the Draa valle. After travelling through N’kob, Tarazine and Alnif, we will take other roads  until you arrive at the Gorges of March.

A significant number of these segments are to be navigated during the Dakar Rally.

Finally, wind down with a Moroccan delicacy and spend the night in a Riad.

DAY 3: March – Oasis Ramlia – dunes in Ouzina – Merzouga

Day 3 On your 3rd day, you will travel along the Dakar Rally’s path passing by more people groups lone, epiphytic plants watercourses (dry stream beds), desert spring and rises of Ouzina. We’ll take the road traveling to Erg Chebbi, the highest dunes in Morocco, after visiting some Berber villages where we will have a local pizza with a nomad family for lunch. Later on, we will reach Merzouga. Like Erg Chebbi, it is known for its high sand dunes. Leaving the hotel, we will head to enjoy the sunset in the Sahara desert to camp. In the middle of the desert of high dunes, we will enjoy the night in a Camp relaxing and having dinner under the endless stars

DAY 4: Merzouga – visit the nomads – Merzouga:

We woke up before day break to watch the sunrise. Come back to the Hotel in dromedary . Shower and breakfast. We went out to surround the Erg Chebbi, augmentation of sand desert where is found the Great Dune of Morocco, of in excess of 250 meters of altitude, interfacing per track with part of the course pursued by the Paris-Daka rallyr, with the mountains circumscribing Algeria of reserve. Stop at the desert of Tissardmin and proceed until a settlement where namad know a few privileged insights of  life and traditions. DAY 6: the Dades Valley – Valley of the Roses – Skoura – Marrakech

On your last day of the trip, you will abandoning the valley of the ‘Thousand Kasbahs’, going through the fascinating valley of the Roses and you will arrive in the palm fgrove of Skoura, where is the kasbah of the most acclaimed area. We will start the way to come back to Marrakesh from there. Your trip comes to an end, when you arrive at your accomadtion
